Storing your information
If you have provided information to Clagnut, it may be stored. Under no circumstances will it be divulged to anyone else or used for marketing purposes. This page explains what information I store and how I use that information.
Blog comments
If you have posted a comment to a blog, your comment will be stored in a database. If you provided a name, email address and/or website this will also be stored. Your name and website will be displayed alongside your comment on clagnut.com. Your email address will never be displayed.
Cookies
If you provide a name, email address and/or website and choose ‘Remember me, these details will be stored as a cookie on your computer. Next time you go to write a comment, this information will be extracted from the cookie and presented to you, to help speed up your comment writing. The cookie will expire in 30 days and is domain specific – this means it can only be read by clagnut.com.
Cookies are also set by the font switcher to remember your choice of styles.
Newsletter
The newsletter is strictly opt-in. You can remove your address at anytime by emailing us or going to the newsletter page. The newsletter is only used to inform subscribers of Clagnut news and site improvements. I will not use it to market anything to you.
